Some comments on church service

Last week's church service made me think of 2 pointers that i want to share here.

1. During educell, Bijia was sharing that when she was young she wanted to grow up and be a clown. She wanted to run away and join the circus. Well, i am not sure that studying in UWA really counts as being in a circus but its kind of like running away i guess. And you could also make a case for there being freaks and babboons around the campus. But i feelglad for her being one of those lucky ones who managed to fulfil their childhood ambition.

2. For sharing about tithes and offering, Jacyln (?) said that sometimes giving offering is so hard because you feel like doing something else with the money. There is definitely a lot of truth in that. But what in the world is KOOKAI? A sense of aged-ness dawned on me when she gave an example that maybe instead of giving offering she could spend the money unwisely on a Kookai t-shirt. Its sure sounds like a kooky (strange or eccentric) brand! It should adopt a kookaburra symbol as its logo or something. And yes, Kookai is not in the dictionary. But if this episode has taught me anything; its that: Buy Kookai, Sure Pok Kai (Chinese dialect for 'bankrupt').
