Remember Boggle?

I suddenly had this epiphany that words with double letters in them are a lot stickier to remember. Unless a person doesnt read then it wont have added significance?
But then how about words like essential or assets? Maybe its just words that sound funny. Like Tottenham; which people can never reach consensus on how to pronounce anyway.
Note that Bookkeeper is spelt thus and is the only word that has 3 double letters. Which proves my theory wrong because bookkeeper is a rather boring word that i dont really want to repeat. Nor does it really strike me every now and again when i least expect it.
I guess its just google and its crazy font colours.
